The staff have been exceptionally, the care that I have received have been the absolute the best. I enjoyed being in the bay with other patients the company has help me loads. I’m looking forward to going home, but feel very apprehensive because I’ve loved being in the hospital, I wish I was able to stay for ever.

I would like to say the biggest and warmest heartfelt thank you. Everything has been wonderful.

The staff are wonderful and have looked after me brilliantly. I have been so impressed by the caring attitude from the nursing staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. The atmosphere on the ward is very peaceful and calm. The food on the whole has been very good with a varied choice everyday. I celebrated my 90th birthday while I was on the ward, I was able to have my family with me in a private room, which I appreciated so much, I would like to say the biggest thank you to everyone.

The staff have been very kind to me and always very friendly. I’m a vegetarian the staff have always gone out of there way to make sure I had something lovely eat.

I think it’s a wonderful hospital, so many nationalities and everyone has been amazing. I spent time in the Royal berks and I was in there to get better but coming to Didcot has got me back on my feet and give you all the credit. The Doctor is a great man.

The food is not good very repetitive the only meal I enjoy is the breakfast. The sandwiches are absolutely terrible.

I would like to say everyone was kind understanding, and have helped me so much. I liked being in a bay with other patients, it was lovely to be able to chat to everyone. I also like to hear about what all the staff got up to on there days off, and looking at photos of grandchildren and dogs .

Everything has been wonderful, I’ve enjoyed talking with the other patients. I’ve enjoyed the activities in the day room with the lady who comes into paint with us, it was absolutely amazing. The nurses have looked after me so well, they have given me 100% attention at all times. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.❤️

I think the only thing I would change is the food.

I couldn’t have been looked after any better, the care I’ve received have been to the highest standard every day. Everyone always made sure I was really comfortable. The food is excellent, when I’ve asked for small portions it was always granted. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for taking care of me.

Only little quibble that I could make is that when I was moved into the side room know one explained to me why. It wasn’t until after that I was told I had civic.

When I was first introduced to me I felt like you all paid attention to me as an individual everyone has been very friendly. The therapy has been amazing and I feel I’ve been kept informed. I’m sad to be going home but grateful.

Sandwiches are terrible too much butter not enough filling very repetitive, frozen food for patients is also terrible the catering really needs to be looked at as the patients here are old and need good nutrition
